Below please find information in preparation for phase II. Before moving to phase II you will need to fill out the Questionaire for assessment and recommendation based upon your disease and responses in phase I.
Contraindicated medications and supplements such as potassium supplements and diuretics must be discontinued unless medically necessary as evidenced by appropriate blood lab values to maximize your safety and response to Phase II medications.
Please read the information below and assess your current status.
How do I know if I'm ready for phase two?
Before Phase Two: If your initial 25-D was above 20ng/ml: It is recommended that you retest your 25D to check if it is near or below the therapeutic level of 12ng/ml. There is no need to retest the more expensive 1,25-D.. How often should I test D levels? What are the target numbers?

Olmetec 40mg Q6H, NoIR glasses, minocycline 100mg Q48H
Hello, I have dropped dropped the uremide and Slow-K 12th Dec. BP up again. 146/89. Was good for a while even when taking medication altermate days so may settle. No more that 2 hrs per week in car and always well covered - glasses, hat, gloves, long sleeves, shoes, trousers. Avoid Vit D foods, soy and wheat.
Ears have felt blocked this week as if there's pressure on them and I'm had stuffy nose ans synuses mornings. No cold symptoms. can sing better and longer. Not as many swallowing problems. Still itchy and at times painful shoulder and sore ankles. For one day I had chest pains - central and slightly to the right.
Haven't started modified regime yet as i still haven't been able to see the doctor. Managed to get appointment next Tue. Hooray! Will then also get test for K+.

Hi, I'm now in phase 3, cycle 5 and feeling much better.
I'm no longer getting the facial 'flutters' that were annoying me every time I tried to sleep and i haven't had leg cramps for a while.
I still get numb hands at night or when I paint and singing is still a problem but improving. I still get pharynx tightness which comes on quite suddenly and then I have to stop singing immediately. However, the singing's much better. A year ago, I lost clarity and purity and my range dropped from soprano to mezzo. Clarity has improved and I can sing longer (only about 20 minutes but that's much better than before!).
Still very SOB but I have more energy. No more afternoon sleeps! In fact, I've been feeling so good, I've even gone back to do some relief teaching - with the glasses, hat, gloves, long sleeves and trousers, of course! Willemina
