Comments:
Annual vacation. First days very strenuous volunteering at 3-day fund-raising fair for agricultural youth. Another strenuous day helping a friend move. About to embark on 4 days in the north woods hoping to watch moose, will hike a little. Last year did this as a med vacation. This year not interrupting the meds. Tolerating light well so this possible with caution.
Thanks and best wishes to all, Dody

Ph. 2 meds, Beni 40 mg Q6 plus some in-betweeners and always Q4-5 during & after more light exposure.
Non-MP meds & measures: Lithium 600 mg QWk. Have upped Calcium to min. 600 mg QD after breaking second tooth in as many months. Valium once in 2 weeks for back spasms. Tylenol. Neoprene support for right ankle. Acid reducer twice for reflux.
Symptoms:
Cardio: Silent.
Fatigue: 3-4
Muscle/Fibro Pain: Last winter’s sprained ankle 3, back pain and spasms 1-2, 4 after afternoon of moutaint-climbing. Leg & foot cramps 1 except 4-5 few days mid-cycle after ramping Mino to 75. Cramps base of both thumbs 3 throughout.
Sleep Disturbances: Mild except 4-5 this mid-cycle.
Neuro: Mood good & stable. “Pins” 2, in head and foot, early this cycle. Tremor, tinnitus, mental fog unchanged. Jerky legs when extra tired.
Joint pain: Back 1-3 related to activity. Thumbs, hips, knees, ankles avg 3.
Overall Achiness, Stiffness: 3 evenings & on waking, 2 rest of time.
Eczema: Continues 3-4, still spreading slowly.
GI symptoms: “Jelly belly” or “jelly gut” three times, occasional reflux, anal pain max. 2 this mid-cycle. Loose stool following tiny taste of shredded lettuce, going to continue cooked-only regime awhile longer.
Gritty Eyes & skin 2-3.
Respiratory: Some shortness of breath climbing. Other respiratory symptoms cleared up while up north, reappeared on return to southern New England.
Photosensitivity: 1, has decreased still further.
Light Exposure: 3-8 depending on weather and activities. Have removed light-proof darkening from some north windows. Wearing NoIRs less (can’t see through them where previously could). Enjoying the outdoors in the shade.
Exercise/Activity: High. Walked every day to watch moose. Climbed a mountain summit one day. Continue craving more exercise every day than had on virtually any day in previous 18 months. Resumed singing in church choir.
Sleep: Averaged 6 hours while up north (moose are active dusk and dawn). Catching up now, averaging 8-9 hours.
Stress: Low on vacation, moderate on return (failed water heater, have been heating water on stove till new heater comes in, dogs sick, catching up at work).
Adherence to MP Nutritional Guidelines: Good.
Comments: Had a wonderful trip. Back to work. Feeling incredibly much better than a year ago. Profoundly grateful to the MP for giving me back a real life. Almost feel guilty after seeing an old Borellia friend who seems unchanged after another year on home IV antibiotics --hoping she may dare buck her traditionally Lyme-literate doc and give the MP a try.
Many thanks & best wishes to all, Dody
