Dear Members,

As this is the time of year when we tend to assess our financial progress and count our blessings, no doubt the Marshall Protocol and the Autoimmunity Research Foundation (ARF) are in your thoughts. We rely on people like you for support. Financial contributions ensure continued research and scientific article publication, medical conference attendance, educational services and regulatory agency interaction (FDA and NIH) on issues related to Th1 immune diseases. We have an immediate need for funds to finish this year to enter the New Year in good shape.

One of the most exciting recent events is Dr. Marshall’s Australia tour and organizational meeting of an Australian foundation, to make presentations at premier Australian medical schools and to meet with physicians and patients who have been unable to attend US conferences. (See list below* for Presentations, conferences and publications supported this year.)

A primary achievement this year is the US FDA’s designation of both minocyline and clindamycin as orphan drugs for sarcoidosis. This happened only because the foundation sponsored FDA requests, detailing a plausible scientific basis for using these drugs. The ARF is now working toward obtaining FDA drug approval for Post Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS) and even Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Funding is critical.

As more physicians utilize the Marshall Protocol, more patients have it available as a treatment option, and thus we enable a better journey to recovery for all. The 2006 LAX conference DVDs provide lively descriptions of patient recovery and research information, and can be ordered with a donation to the foundation. The 2005 conference DVDs are also available on the same form. These make excellent gifts for family and friends with Th1 conditions as well as thank you gifts for health care providers.

Please take a few moments to make a donation to support ARF today. If you want to make a small donation, it will be appreciated and some members find small, regular contributions enable their continued support. If you are not able to donate, please help your family and friends know the value of the foundation’s work and ask them to include Autoimmunity Research, Inc. in their personal or annual corporate gifts.

Convenient Donation + DVD Order Process:
You may donate using your Visa, Mastercard, or checking account through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit cards. Simply enter PayPal's website, with the foundation already identified as your gift recipient by clicking here and then click the "Donate" button and follow credit card sequence.

Optional Convenience for “Donations Alone”:
If you already have a PayPal account, simply login using your PayPal user name and ID, and complete the transaction. If you want a PayPal account, you can set up one to allow a transfer of funds using your credit card or bank account. (This is for donations alone. If you want a DVD with your donation, you must go to the DVD order page, where you can enter your mailing address and request a set of DVDs.)

Check or Certified Check:
Those who prefer less automation can make checks payable to “Autoimmunity Research, Inc.,” for either DVD purchase or donation alone. Send with correspondence by postal mail to:

Autoimmunity Research Foundation
3423 Hill Canyon Ave
Thousand Oaks , CA 91360 , USA

International Options:
If you are outside the US and not using PayPal, or are not using US dollars, consult your local bank for instructions on how to obtain a bank check in US dollars payable to the foundation, Autoimmunity Research, Inc.

Other Gifts:
If you desire to donate appreciated stock certificates, please contact the foundation to make transfer arrangements.

We sincerely thank you for past contributions and we look forward to a promising New Year.

Wishing you joy and peace,

The Directors, Autoimmunity Research Foundation
