Julia
Congratulations!  (though I realise this is not the end point).   Really well done and kudos to you for all your hard work.  I'm only 2 years in, but during these 2 years I have definitely got an appreciation for how tough the MP is.

Thank you so much for sticking around the on the sites and for posting your progress.  It is immensely helpful to those coming afterwards to see the success stories, and especially in a way that is so vivid and has such a strong impact as your photos.  I find it essential to give me the strength to continue.

Thank you and wishing you all the best.

take care,
regards, k

Thank you Julia for your inspirational pictures and wonderful story....not to mention your poetry!!!

I wish I were a neighbor of yours....as I imagine you're quite fun to be around. I'm so happy for all your improvements, and even happier for what is coming for you.

Thank you all :)

Thank you, Trevor - I think my sufferings were indeed small compared to so many here.  A little osteoarthritis may have landed me in a wheelchair for a while, but it was only for family 'walks'.  For things like running the household, I just did a little at a time, and alternated standing tasks with sitting tasks.  There were certainly times when things were either done sitting or not at all!

If I'd had to make a choice, I would have taken a cure for brain fog way before one for arthritis.  The worst was being unable to read or listen to music, or even hold an intelligent conversation, or produce a report at work - or producing it, only to find I'd already done it the day before

But now I've had my brain back for ages, and I can hardly believe I'm getting mobility back as well.  Yay, good old MP!! :D:D:D

Truly a picture is worth a 1000 words.

You know, Dr. Marshall, I admire the way you admit not always realize peoples struggle with disease.

I don't know if I can imagine how hard your own struggle must be, telling people again and again, the MP works, and explaining over and over again how it works.

One day I think I have to apologize to you, for being sceptic and asking (to) much questions about the MP.

I also admire Julia for hanging on and finally get the reward as seen on these beautiful pictures!

I,m only 10 months ahead, but reading and seeing this, sure strengthens my hope and believe!

Good luck Julia and good luck Dr. Marshall!!

Annemarie
